The Bulgarian Shelter is best film at various international festivals
Dragomir Sholev's first feature, Shelter (Podslon) has already got several awards and has been invited to numerous international festivals. Full DI post production of the film was made at the Hungarian Filmlab.
The Bulgarian Shelter (Podslon), a film about confrontational relationship between parents and children was awarded as Best Film, Best Set Design and Editing by the Bulgarian Film Academy last week. The first-time director Dragomir Sholev' feature was the winner of Sofia International Film Festival in March 2011 as well. It got the Grand Prix Award for Best Film in the International Competition and recieved the Kodak Award for Best Bulgarian Feature Film. At the International Film Festival Bratislava 2010 the Best Director award went to Shelter as well. It has been invited to festivals in Tallinn, Bydgoszcz (Poland) and Thessaloniki. Shelter opened the South East European Film Festival in Los Angeles in April and it has been selected into the official section of San Sebastian International Film Festival 2010. The Hungarian Filmlab worked on the complete digital post production of this multi-awarded film. The Baselight colorist was our colleague, Judit Szép.
