3D %26 Effect 2D Visual Effect
2D is the easiest and the most widespread way of modifying
a motion picture. We always use the original material (a video
or a scanned film) as our basis and then change the content
of the picture e.g. by replacing the background, creating
subtitles, etc.
3D
3D is used to put new elements into the film. Objects, people,
animals etc. are scanned and modelled by 3D and can be put
into the frame.
Typical Procedure
First we have to clarify the requirements of our customers
and make visual plans in order to work out a mostly most effective
co-operation between the filmmakers and our 3D team. After
scanning the raw material, 3D models are put into the film.
Special ways of using 3D
As opposed to public beliefs 3D isn't only important in producing
spectacular special effects. It also provides directors and
photographers some new, otherwise inapplicable tools. (e.g.
looking through walls and keyholes, etc.) 3D is also used
to generate crowd or special backgrounds.
