New success in Karlovy Vary with the mediation of FilmLab

The 44th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival will be held these days, which is the only A-category international film festival in Central Europe – the Hungarian Filmunio says. FIAPF producer association register only 12 international film festival with the mentioned qualification, like the most famous ones in Berlin, Cannes and Venice. In Karlovy Vary only films made after January 1, 2008 which haven’t been previously shown in the competition of another international film festival may be included; films selected are generally world, international or European premiers.

This year György Pálfi‘s new film called I am not your friend! has been selected in the competition along with its 14 rivals for the Christal Globe. In the "East of the West" program of the festival Seventh circle by Árpád Sopsits and Devil’s Town - Djavolja Varos by Vladimir Paskaljević have been chosen. The complete post production works of the films, including digital works, were done by The Hungarian Filmlab. We wish the film makers great success!
